Bikes are rarely a cinch to put together and this Radio Flyer tricycle wasn’t any different. It was almost overwhelming how many pieces there were, but with the number of features radio flyer 4 in 1 trike has it is not surprising how many parts there were to put together. It tooks about an hour to put together. It should be mentioned though, that you’ll most likely need 2 people to put this together. There are certain parts to put on that need more than 2 hands.

I absolutely LOVE all the features that are included. We didn’t put on the sunshade or the child tray on, but we did put the 3-point harness on since Little Brother isn’t used to balancing on and remaining sitting in a bike seat yet. There are a few very thoughtful features that I am so glad Radio Flyer had the foresight to include. 1) You have the option of “locking” the pedals so that when the trike is being used like a stroller the kids won’t be able to move the front wheel when they put their feet on the pedals. When the little one are ready, it couldn’t be any simpler to turn the dial to the unlock position so they can pedal the trike. 2) I love that the parent handle bars are attached to the steering mechanism. Steering the trike with the parent handle bars couldn’t be easier.
